Monitoring of loans/client relations
I have learnt new industry skills, developed a professional mindset and learnt multiple transferable life skills.
I enjoy that I have responsibility in my job role and also that my colleagues are friendly and approachable so I never feel overwhelmed. I also enjoy that there is always something new to learn and that even after nearly a year I feel like I have only stepped into the role.
Perfectly structured. An equal split of lecture weeks and time to work on course work. I also think it blends in perfectly within the work week.
Lots of support. There are dedicated web pages to support you as well as established contacts that are purely there for your support.
Lots of support. Our lectures are always available if we have problems related to coursework. We also have monthly catch-up sessions with a personal tutor to discuss our progress, worries and questions.
They are not directly correlated, however I believe this is a good thing. In the working world you dive straight into the deep end where as the qualification starts from the beginning which is very useful as you gain an understanding of the wider bank as well as reinforce work related knowledge.
Lots of opportunities as well as a diverse array of activities which means there is always something for everyone to do and look forward to.
