I work either in the kitchen or out front, in the kitchen i can do a carvery open or close or do an all day and out front i will be on the tills or on the floor clearing and resting the tables for the next customers
I have learnt how to temp meat properly as well as how to cook certain foods, i have also learnt what to do on the tills and on the floor
I like learning new things i.e. changing the ale barrels and doing a line clean or learning how to count the safe and the tills at the end of the night
It is very well structured, i know my way around the aptem web site and i am learning a lot to then potentially move up the ladder
I receive a good amount of support for when i need it, especially if i dont know about something i.e. line check/stock takes
This recent apprenticeship i have received more support because I want to move up to the management apprenticeship and i am am receiving help with my Maths and English
It helps me to understand the business more each day because of all the different jobs i do
I can get involved in having a sit down and drinks after work with my colleagues at the end of the day or on a day off
Yes
Because we have cheap food and drinks and the staff are friendly
Show up on time, down moan about the hours changing at the last minute
