Since starting in January 2024, I have now learnt how to complete and file VAT Returns as well as confirmation statements. I also call HMRC to quickly receive information on clients to help the qualified accountants and I am now starting training soon to handle calls with clients.
Many new skills that I wouldn't have gained in a classroom setting such as teamwork, building professional relationships to help complete tasks efficiently as well as speaking skills etc.
I enjoy my programme as it ensures a healthy work-life balance and ensures I come across challenges I can overcome and learn from, under pressure to gain deeper knowledge.
Highly organised with set meetings in place to raise any questions, having unlimited support with questions regarding my apprenticeship from my place of work as well as my learning provider is really beneficial.
A lot of support in helping me face my own questions and pushing me to use my gained knowledge to answer these.
A lot, an email aways open to questions as well as in person/teams meetings to review progress if aappreciated. The pointing out of areas I am succeeding and areas which need to be revised to ensure I don't make the same mistakes is highly beneficial.
It helps a lot as my qualification and job are closely intertwined ensuring that not only my work is beneficial for my apprenticeship but vice versa is brilliant.
Many, right now for the month of may we have had a month challenge for which team can get the most steps in to win a team prize as well as individual challenges and programmes in place to reward positive feedback.
Yes
The endless support while driving me to push my expectations is fantastic.
Ensure you are driven to perform to your best as you will be working with keen colleagues who are willing to provide you all the support and in return you put your effort into completing tasks efficiently and correctly.
