Respond to hire enquires, draw up quotes, service equipment serving on the hire desk
I can confidently run a hire desk as well as giving advice and help to customers who may not be as knowledgeable
Its been challenging at times with changes in my work environment (new staff etc.) and I've had to work around with not a lot of help
For the first year regular webinars are very helpful to understand different parts of the business you wouldnt usually consider and also 1-2-1's with my apprenticeship coach who has encouraged support and confidence throughout the programme
my employer hasn't really had much interest in it other then at the end when i received my grade, my manager even asked if i was still doing it/what was i doing
My apprenticeship coach has been extremely helpful in their support without their help i dount i'd be able to achieve the grade i did
I done stuff/trained for stuff i probably wouldn't look twice out and because i've done it grows my potential further
every so often one of charities we partner with, Macmillan we often do fundraising events with them like coffee mornings etc.
No
Apart from a few exceptions the training given to management is very poor as in the man management skills and their lack of ability to take any responsibility for any mishaps that have happend. Pay is just above minimum and from a company that make so much and demand so much but pay very little, its quite telling
Not great pay, lack of training so expect to be left on your own very often.
