Maintaining a hospitals hard FM, learning about the mechanical and electrical engineering to maintain equipment such as AHU, Boilers and other hard FM systems.
Learnt a great understanding in engineering systems of how to maintain a site while also developing other skills which will improve my CPD such as communication and leadership
Everyday is a new challenge and each day I grow to love work and college even more, there so much to learn and so much to do while also having lots of opportunities to grow and develop
Very organised. i really like the structure and ratio of work to college. with regards to my college i do a block release, this means i can learn the theory in college and complete the assignments and then going back to site and applying the knowledge
My employer not only helps me with benefits, financials and other experiences but also helps me track my progress ensuring i am always devolving. i also have an amazing team and managers who support me even when i am faced with challenges, this makes me feel more happy knowing i have a lot of aid and support!!
My training provider always go out of their way to ensure the work is completed up to standard, however if i am having any challenges my lectures are always here to support me to complete my qualifications to standard
my college work and my site work synergizes very well, this is because college helps me understand the theory part of it and then i can apply my knowledge on site, this improves my performance by understanding both engineering aspects
Many professional networking events and apprentice gatherings which help communication and networking, there also many opportunities to help the next generation of apprentices and many other volunteering activities and fundraisers for charities.
