1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role is a duty manager. I support and manage a team. I make sure all health safety tasks are done and all other admin tasks are done. I make sure the team are meeting customer needs and exceeding expectations.

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I’ve learnt about leadership styles and which leadership styles I should use in different situations. I’ve also learnt how to manage a team better by using certain techniques to help support them.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoyed my programme as it helped me expand and develop my skills. It also thought me many things that I didn’t know before. The programme also helped me see the ‘why’ we do things and detailed how to certain things.

The programme was well structured and organised and made it very easy to navigate through the content.

5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer supported me as much as they could.

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider provided me as much support as I needed and never failed to help me when I needed it.

I feel that my qualification will definitely help me perform better in my role as it has expanded my knowledge and helped developed new and exciting skills.

There are many activities at work, such as fundraisers and professional meetings.
