I act as a first line of support for our buyers and help them with any legal issues they may have. This includes reviewing contracts, engaging in supplier negotiations and managing legal relationships.
I have learnt more communication skills and how to cater the way that i communicate to different members of the team. It is so important that you deliver materials in a way that works best with whoever you are delivering it to and over time you improve on this skill and it will come easier.
I really do enjoy the programme, it gives me all the support that i need to have to be able to excel in my role. Working and learning, does really help to be able to cement the knowledge further as i am able to use what i have learnt in my job.
My programme is structured really well. The university have a clear schedule on when work needs to be completed and when you have specific workshop sessions. Having my clear one day which i have for study makes it really easy to structure my day and also know how to work out when specific pieces of work need completing.
My employer allows me one day per week as my study day, this means that i can work solely on my apprenticeship work on that day. My employer is really flexible with my apprenticeship and offers support when i need it
My University offers so much support, they offer weekly sessions when we are working on a core knowledge section. When we are getting closer to exams they also offer numerous drop in sessions so that we can ask any questions or concerns that we may have
Hugely! I can use everything i have learnt in my university in my role
There are loads of different ERG's and groups to get involved in
Yes
They offer so much as a company, such as medical benefits and a share save scheme, they also have a community environment which makes you feel supported
