  • Half of my day is me dealing with clients and helping them with their financial queries (pricing, coupon rates etc). The other half of my day is developing tools to help automate some processes and make my job easier when dealing with clients. A great starting point to my career

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • absolutely. I get the best of both worlds, finance and technology. I came in not knowing how to code but at the end of my first year I have managed to build an automation tool to help with our financial queries. On top of that since gained so much finance knowledge!

  • It can be busy at times just as any other company / bank. Overall work life balance is healthy

  • very well organized, i have no complaints

  • a lot of support whenever i have a question i feel like i need to raise something they are always there.

  • full support, my providers are always an email away.

  • a lot better, it provided me with the financial knowledge to perform well in my role.

  • we have BOB events where we get to do charity work, go out for dinners with the team etc

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Since its in the heart of the market place the amount you can learn is endless. I thankfully sit in data therefore i get both the tech and the finance knowledge. I would say its a great starting point to anyones career.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Bloomberg?
  • know Bloomberg, know the terminal and be up to date with financial news
