    • I learned to use SQL, BQL, Python, PowerBI.

    • I am an active member of the community and had the opportunity to interact with several teams in the company.

    • Bloomberg provides further training, on top of the training provided by Multiverse.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

    • I have been assigned a mentor in my team that supported me during the apprenticeship. There is also a community of apprentices at Bloomberg where we can share ideas and support each other.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

    • Multiverse assigned me a trainer that staid in contact with me until gateway and provided me with further resources to get the best out of the apprenticeship.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

    • The training provided by Multiverse gave me the opportunity to learn tools that my colleagues didn't know about. The training provided by Bloomberg gave me foundation knowledge of finance that is invaluable when working with financial data.

    • I organised an event with an activist at Bloomberg and my effort and results were recognised even by the director of D&I.

    • Great communities and opportunities to volunteer and give back to the community.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Bloomberg?

    • Learn about the company, the department, the team. Bloomberg is a massive company and there are a lot of different roles available.
