Incident Management - response to and minimise the effect of incidents occurring on the service desk I work on. Reporting back on effect, outage, known issues, problems and mitigation. Liaising with the client and 3rd parties and internal teams to resolve issues on a daily basis.
Yes, have achieved my ITIL Foundation level certificate along with the training undertaken set by QA, has helped me understand and develop in my new role.
Very much enjoy the programme, from previous similar roles I have done, this is helping to formalise my knowledge and skills.
Very well organised. The work is spread out over the months with clear deadlines, along with online classes which so far have been excellently run and very interactive. Support is excellent also, have never had any significant delays in getting a response/help from my tutors.
100% support from my employer. Capgemini are very invested in this programme and it's very clear who I need to go to for help and support.
100% support, again the work and courses are clearly explained and organised. All tutors and course leaders are very knowledgeable and approachable, all ready to help and advise.
Very much so, it has definitely given me a better understanding of what role entails and how I fit in the team I work with, along with what is expected from me.
There are, we are constantly emailed about new developments and existing opportunities.
