  • Incident Management - response to and minimise the effect of incidents occurring on the service desk I work on. Reporting back on effect, outage, known issues, problems and mitigation. Liaising with the client and 3rd parties and internal teams to resolve issues on a daily basis.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes, have achieved my ITIL Foundation level certificate along with the training undertaken set by QA, has helped me understand and develop in my new role.

  • Very much enjoy the programme, from previous similar roles I have done, this is helping to formalise my knowledge and skills.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very well organised. The work is spread out over the months with clear deadlines, along with online classes which so far have been excellently run and very interactive. Support is excellent also, have never had any significant delays in getting a response/help from my tutors.

  • 100% support from my employer. Capgemini are very invested in this programme and it's very clear who I need to go to for help and support.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • 100% support, again the work and courses are clearly explained and organised. All tutors and course leaders are very knowledgeable and approachable, all ready to help and advise.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Very much so, it has definitely given me a better understanding of what role entails and how I fit in the team I work with, along with what is expected from me.

  • There are, we are constantly emailed about new developments and existing opportunities.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Capgemini provides excellent opportunities to grow and develop. You don't necessarily have to start with the knowledge some expect, but there are many different ways eternally to grow and develop.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Capgemini?
  • Be open minded to all opportunities and don't say no to anything, you just never know what might be the right opportunity for you will be.
