Making sure that food safety is 100% complete. Interacting with customers to make sure that they are satisfied and leave satisfied. Running shifts and managing people, ensuring everyone is kept safe and happy. Helping to manage the restaurants accounts in all aspects. Assisting the store manager.
I have learnt new skills about what how to deal with KPIs and the background of all other hospitality outlets. I have developed skills to do with people and how to manage people better and more efficiently. I have also learnt the theories behind leadership and leadership styles.
I enjoy the programme and the way that Lifetime has set it up. The ability to see your progress and what needs completing every month is very helpful and helps you to keep a calm frame of mind. It has been helpful to keep track of my development via of the job hours too.
The programme is well structured so that you can see where you are and if you are on track.
I get 2 9 hour shifts a month to complete my tasks and also get support with other aspects of development that I need to do.
I have support from my training provider and have regular monthly meetings. I can also email my coach or use the message function on lifetime.
It gives me a better understanding on ways that I can improve within my role.
