I manage 4 engineering teams responsibel for the build, maintenance and support of a set of microservices. I set priorities, manage risk and delivery while trying to build a positive culture amongst my engineers.
Throughout the apprenticeship I've learnt an awful lot about myself, specifically about self-awareness, bias, self control and different leadership styles. It's all been really useful in my day to day working life.
I really enjoy my programme, especially the group sessions which have been a fun and useful way of meeting other people on the programme from outside of ASOS.
It's really well organised and structured but it's up to you to find the time to do the work.
ASOS gives me plenty of time to do my learning and work on my assignments.
I've had all the support I needed from FTL and the leadership coaching sessions with my coach have been really useful in helping me to reinforce my learning.
Everything I've learned has been relevant to my role and will help me perform better.
There are plenty of extra-curricular events at ASOS from social activities and networks to technical communities.

ASOSers are what makes ASOS a great place to work. It is a great culture to be part of of and I enjoy coming to work here.
Be yourself. Bring your best self - be ready to work hard and have a good time doing it.
