As a marine electrician, every day is different. I’m learning knew things every day and meeting some amazing knowledgeable people on the way.
Yes every day I seem to learn something new such as techniques or different skills which I’m always trying to apply into my work
I have thoroughly enjoyed working with my colleagues this year and met some really amazing people. I’m being taught independence as well as I have to do a lot of learning on my own which helps me understand the tasks much better.
Due to misunderstanding between the company and the college, it hasn’t been smooth at all.
Our tutors offer a lot of support to us, our managers in the college not as much

It offers brilliant opportunities long term, and although it isn’t all about the money, you come out your apprenticeship on a wage which you can support yourself on which is always nice to look forward too.
There will be bumps in the road and some of it is tough, however keep focused and listen to your tutors and you’ll have a really pleasant first year
