I recieve work packs, need to check everything is there, fit the parts and ensure everything is safe.
I have learnt how to use various types of machines and hand tools.
I enjoy it very much and have done from the beginning
It is very well structured with certain milestones to meet giving plenty of time to complete coursework.
I receive a decent amount of support from my employer.
I receive good support as the units picked to learn work well with the particular job role.
I think it is good as the qualification includes background knowledge on why things work the way the do which gives a better understanding when performing in the role.
Yes there are rounders events, social activities and groups to get involved with such as mental health groups.
Yes
It is a very good apprenticeship as you get paid a decent amount to get hands on and learn on the go. There are a lot of skills to be learnt still which will definitely come in the future.
To read the job description well to ensure it is what you want to do as some apprenticeships are longer than others and you may need certain skills beforehand.
