My role involves me working on the internal and external events that are put on in the Bloomberg London office as part of the AudioVisual crew. I work on the audio, lighting and camera aspect for these events, while also helping plan and run events from the AudioVisual aspect of an event
I have leant a plethora of skills, mainly surrounding the equipment and software that we use during the events. However, I have also developed many of my interpersonal skills while working in a team and dealing with speakers.
I enjoy it greatly. From the work I do for the company in the events to the lessons and assignments I do for my school. they are both well organized very helpful in anything I need. Also Bloomberg is very good at putting on special activities for the apprentices
it is very well organized and structed. the lessons and assignments are well timed and throughout coving all i need but still giving me time to work with my teachers on the assignments. Similarly Bloomberg is very well organized and always available to help me with anything I may need
I receive a lot of help from everyone. I have my own mentor within my team that helps me with a lot of my problems. however I still have a personals contract within HR that is always there to help me with problems. also the same is true for my school
They provide a lot to me, from having each teacher available during the week for a quick messages. they also set up extra team video call catchups during the week for each lessons and of course there is the head of the course who is very helpful in solving any problems I may have
I find they go hand in hand helping each other. I have lessons on both audio skills and camera skills that help greatly with my work on the events. I also have other lessons that complement my work like network, live production and online event production all things i do day to day.
Bloomberg is very good at doing activities for us. they do many networking events both in office and in other locations. they like to put on social events for us to catchup up with fellow apprentices and they put on learning opportunities by bring in experts to talk to us about topics like mental health
Yes
