My role on a day to day basis in the second year involves cashiering, managing stock levels to make sure their is enough stock on the shelves. In addition, I also manage, help solve staff queries observe and give feedback to employees at Aldi, which include ops 42 which records staff behaviour and interactions on the till with customers.
I have developed and learnt skills such as first aid, interacting with staff and customers, completing tasks within time limits as well as balancing my job role and college apprenticeship studies.
I enjoy my programme as I have a large wonderful team who are willing to help and learn from each other giving the correct guidance. In addition, success is celebrated within the team and hard work is acknowledged. The Aldi programme is a fantastic opportunity and environment for well organised, fast paced and confident individuals willing to take on challenges, acting on feedback to produce strong results and exceed expectations and goals
I feel very valued and welcomed at Aldi as I have supported managers and friendly colleagues. I have a supportive tutor who is willing to go the extra mile to guide me to bring out the best of my ability.
my programme is well structured as the study programme and work levels are clearly spread through the 3 years course give the right balance to work, study and learn.
I receive a tremendous amount of support from my trainer who encourages and breaks down the work to my level giving me enough time, space to learn develop and gain my results.
I have receive a lot of support from my employers who guide encourage, celebrate my achievements and success always directing me and encouraging me to work harder, efficiently but also effectively.
the salary meets my needs and costs, as I don't have to travel very far to and from work, this saves costs as well as my wage covers my monthly expenses.
yes there are many opportunities at work, such as football matches, socialising events such as bowling and theme parks, also employee competitions such as baking cakes (I came second)

Aldi has the best opportunities to develop, grow and succeed in the growing business. As well as challenging yourself and each others to achieve their best to create competition for other businesses.
I would give tips to other employees to be themselves give their best efforts and don't give up. Keep trying and be confident, understand and learn from each other as their experiences and knowledge can be very handy.
