carry out various roles on a day to day basis. Times carrying out tasks with a mentor and other times carrying out tasks on my own
i have developed a various range of new skills during my apprenticeship.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my apprenticeship learning new skills in the automotive industry throughout. I have enjoyed the various variety of knowledge.
The workplace is very structured to help with my learning. the majority of the college was structured just the one off week for the end of year 2 gateway was shocking. that is the only time it has been shambles. the Fuse training isn't helpful in the slightest
My employer, especially my line managers, are very good at helping assist me through my learning. Always putting me on tasks that well help develop my knowledge and build me as a technician.
The support while in the college is amazing, but with the off the job training during work times the FUSE was amazing when it was the interactive pages, but now with the PowerPoints and the videos it isn't as engaging as it could be.
it gives me a good base knowledge to build on and alter during my time in the industry.
I play golf with the other mechanics in the depot. there is various type of charity events and different activities to do all sent through emails
Yes
all the team is friendly and everyone is very approachable, no matter what there title is in the company. Your line managers, especially in the Wigan depot, are very helping and guiding in how to go about certain tasks and guide you through.
I would struggle to offer advice due to the well structured induction process and welcoming environment across the whole company
