I am a C+E driver for Aldi and my day to day duties are delivering produce, bread, freezer, ambient stock and chill stock to various stores across the midlands.
I have learnt how to drive a rigid and an articulated vehicle. I have also improved my communication skills with talking to store staff at each store as well as sometimes customers.
I am really enjoying my programme and I couldn’t be happier about my decision to do the apprenticeship.
My programme is really well organised and structured, everything is planned out really well and sorted for me making life easy for me and making it easy to understand and I know where I am in the programme all the time.
I couldn’t receive any more support from my employer, when ever I need help with anything I speak to my direct leader and he sorts everything out for me there and then
I receive loads of support from my training provider giving me all the help I need all the time making the apprenticeship a lot easier.
The training I’ve been given has helped me really well with gaining the knowledge and skills I now have to do my role to the highest possible standard on a daily basis.
Yeah there after work activities that some of my colleagues take part in that I could get involved in.
Yes
They’re a really good company to work fore and get given all the help and support I could ever need and I’ve been given a major opportunity to improve my skills and create a new career for myself
Try the best you can, ask any questions you need, turn up to work everyday on time and well presented and treat other how’s you’d like to be treated yourself.
