I have learnt a lot of new skills regarding being a HGV technician apprentice. completing daily tasks such as inspections and taking on responsibilities in the workshop and interacting with the rental office.
I thoroughly enjoy this programme, i'm always learning new skills and progressing my knowledge within the company and workshop.
the programme is well structured there is a good college system in place where you go every other month to the remit college where you do a week at a time and the workshop allows you to have you 20% of the job learning.
There is alot of support given by the employer, any questions and queries are looked into and you're given an answer quickly. They support you with your college learning and anything in the workshop
We are allocated a development coach from the college but they aren't the most supportive and we only see them once every couple of months for a couple of hours.
the qualification from the training provider helps me perform better in my role as i'm always developing my knowledge from what i learn.
