Development of communication skills
The content itself isn’t interesting but the practical side is
I went through 3 mentors and they forgot about me for the first year, the store didn’t know how to handle an apprentice
My employer has been very helpful when trying to resolve issues
Given plenty of time and opportunities to learn and develop
A lot of the parts were just elaborate ways of phrasing common sense
We are a store not a school, sometimes we go out for drinks with colleagues

Aldi is a fast passed and stressful job, it requires long hours and weird times of the day. I wouldn’t recommend it to a friend as it requires a lot of effort for the pay.
Make sure you understand the variety of the shifts that you will be undertaking, a lot of free time will be lost and it will be a large change compared to school/collage
