I learn about different theoretical aspects of not only Electrical Engineering but also general Engineering. I get to do practical exercises to learn hand skills and to put the theory into practice.
I entered this apprenticeship with no knowledge of Engineering, so I have learnt a lot
I have learnt a lot of new things and I enjoy the opportunities to try new things.
There are moments in which there is not a lot to do and the instructors are unsure as to what to do or what is happening
I do get a lot support from my employer, many instructors are experienced and I am able to learn a lot.
I do receive support and guidance as to what I need to do to for my qualifications .
I believe that it will give me a good foundation to which I can use to learn more skills
There is an apprentice council and opportunities to volunteer for open evenings
