alot of learning on the job and learning how to work on and in a HGV environment with 1 to 1 tutoring at work with your mentor
i feel like ive become more competent on working on motor vehicles both big and small and learnt skills ill use throughout my life
i really enjoy it
the program is broken up into 2 weekly blocks every 6 - 8 weeks during the academic year
i receive all the support i need, they provide a tool voucher for you to spend so you can complete the job
i get visits after every block to see how i am progressing
helps give me an understanding on how things work on the theory side and then i can use that knowledge on the practical
not too many other then work night outs
Yes
id only recommend if they enjoy the same things as i do, but its a good environment where everyone will help if you ask and can have a good laugh
the beginning will feel like its slow and not learning alot but once youve built the trust up with your mentor youll be given more jobs and more chance to prove yourself
