1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Within my role I have had the opportunity to assist with cost planning and modelling, and delivery information to clients on pre-contract projects. I am also involved with post-contract projects where I have assisted with assessing quotations and using contract management tools.

I have been able to develop a wide range of skills required for quantity surveying, including analytical thinking, attention to detail and of course maths!

I really enjoy my job and the university course alongside it.

Well organised, there is a clear structure and the university course is well managed. There is lots of support available.

There is lots of support available from the team whether that be with the day-to-day job or with assignments.

UCEM are very supportive and helpful. Considering it is remote, there are lots of opportunities to get help if you need it!

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The UCEM courses helps to provide the in-depth knowledge you can't necessarily pick-up in the role but is very helpful to know.

Yes, at Mott MacDonald there are lots of opportunities to become involved in social activities and ECP events.
