Supporting service users with daily routines, ensuring they are safeguarded; their welfare and well-being are met in a person-centered way. Providing companionship, encouraging independence; promoting self-worth and supporting re-integration into society. Collaborating with family, multidisciplinary health and social care professionals to ensure effective support and well-being of individuals in care.
I have participated in various training and capacity building workshops which has greatly improved my skills sets and knowledge in carrying out my role/duty of providing effective care and support, better working relationship with colleagues, and other professionals, as well as with family of individual in care
I love the program because it is very rich in content and easy to follow and comprehend; although time consuming due to my tight schedule.
The program is every organised and structured; more like a degree program.
