Identifying training needs; plan, design, build and deliver training programmes to groups; one to one coaching and development.
Yes many, so far interpersonal/communication skills, knowledge about inclusion and inclusive design, training needs analysis, design and planning skills.
Yes very much, although I provide training, prior to this apprenticeship, I'd never been been "taught" how to do it.
Very well organised well, I would have liked the session on the learning journal to have been part of the on-boarding / welcome first session
They are very supportive, I have no problem in taking the 6 hours I need each week and they are happy for me to cover off other activities if I need to shadow / make contact with others in other work time. They also like to feed back what I'm learning about.
Lots, if ever I have a question, I know I can send the organisers/my coach a message and they reply very quickly. They provide monthly drop in sessions you can attend on the EPA and Learning Journal which are great, you can attend as many times as you like, as can your manager and different questions are always asked.
As mentioned above, I've not had any formal L&D training before I started this course so it has helped in all areas studied so far.
Aviva has a Learning Professions Network for all staff in the L&D function, keeping us all up to date on changes and developments within L&D, it includes a MS Teams / chat channel, they offer opportunities to get involved in working groups etc and celebrates individuals' successes including apprentices.
Yes
Aviva is so supportive when it comes to time for your on personal and professional development - this is the 3rd "professional" qualification they have supported me with.
In relation to the apprenticeships, I would recommend individuals are prepared that it can take more than 6 hours a week to study to get the most of the course, and Aviva needs to communicate this.
