Installing and fixing broadband. The job ranges from installing services for a brand new customer to replacing faulty equipment or fault finding.
Yes. I have learned so much since joining. The job is great. I was new to this and I’ve learned how to properly and safely use tools and equipment as well as what goes into providing a good service.
The programme has been great. I do feel like it could have been shorter but I really enjoyed it. I met so many new people and have been involved in so many training programs that require travelling to different parts of the country.
Very organised and very well structured. The resources and support available is amazing.
I receive so much support from my employer. My manager is great and has supported me with both work and personal things. The team I work with is great too. I can call or message anyone for support and they’ll always help.
So much. My development coach for the apprenticeship has been great. Right from the start I used to struggle with completing the coursework but my development coach set out time with 1:1 sessions to help me get it done and complete on time.
I believe it helps me to be a better technician. The training was almost like school and I don’t have to worry about making mistakes. There’s always someone to help. I feel that I am better trained than some technicians who didn’t go through the apprenticeship.
I’m not sure with this one.
Yes
The working atmosphere is great. The benefits are great. The pay is great. I’ve not experienced any issues with Virgin Media. I’ve been here for over a year and I’m still loving it.
Apply. You never know what’s gonna happen. There’s so much support for growth and development. The work life balance is amazing. You will truly love it!
