I manage a selection of brands we sell on ASOS and our curated range from each. I plan each brand relating to stock we buy, managing stock in to the business, our pricing strategy and branded relationship.
I have done a situational leadership course where I learnt new skills, otherwise this FTL apprenticeship is by far the best opportunity I've had to develop myself. Learning new skills so far across self-awareness, culture, inclusion, diversity, equality, time management.
I've really enjoyed the learning material, although fitting it in alongside your job can be challenging.
It's really well structured although I would appreciate more facetime with my Coach.
My employer understands the time commitment so in this sense they are supporting, however that's as far as it goes.
I would benefit from more facetime with my coach.
So far, I've learnt and been made aware of invaluable management techniques and skills, helping me manage my team, manage upwards and manage difficult conversations. ASOS does not provide much training for soft skills so it's been great.
Yes although I don't think they're well advertised.
No
I think if you're already working in fashion then I would recommend, otherwise I think that the recognition and reward it not enough at ASOS and within fashion as a whole.
It may seem daunting but it's worth it, an amazing opportunity!
