  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Definitely gives a greater understanding to the role I am in but as well as getting an understanding how each function and team ties together to make the project happen, as well as getting more of a "common sense" about how your role works.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • STEM ambassador for BAE, I really enjoy getting to go to schools and interact with pupils to show them the wide range of apprenticeships BAE have to offer from school leavers to Graduate schemes... also in the apprentice council which is great for different functions getting together and socialising.

  • 9a. Would you recommend BAE Systems to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Honestly when I applied for this role I was looking into and applying for multiple apprenticeships with many different companies and everything from the range of apprenticeships, pay, career opportunities, qualifications, and benefits that BAe have to offer. no where else came close in my opinion

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
  • Don't worry about having the best grades or the most qualification (not saying these don't help, of course they do). be yourself and be sociable and likeable. I feel like BAE care a lot for how they think you interact with those around you and will you have a positive or negative impact on the teams you'll be going into.
