Innumerable. This apprenticeship gave me all the tools I needed to progress my career. Apprentices are heavily supported in the company, and are given every opportunity to learn and improve. Specifically my software and problem solving skills using tech
I enjoyed my program very much. It was difficult to time manage, but rewarding
The university were excellent in providing structure. Due to BTs support mechanisms, there were many places I could reach out if I had questions, and the team I studied with ensured I had plenty of work outside my degree, but still provided study time
I felt completely supported at all times during my apprenticeship. My team and company were simply fantastic
The university were also stellar in their support. They are limited in what they can provide due to it being a degree, but made every effort to ensure we had the material, and assistance we needed to complete our coursework and exams. The course lead, could not have been more helpful
My qualification is supports my role directly, and provided a general wealth of knowledge to assist my day job. The large majority of my experience however has been gained through the in office work I have completed within the company during my apprenticeship
This is the only area that is directly lacking in BT, due to their location policy change during my apprenticeship
Yes
It is a fantastic place to learn and work, you could not easily ask for a better apprenticeship program in terms of what is offered to you
Be yourself. BT is a very diverse place. Be open to new ideas, comments and criticism. Try your absolute best, don't worry if you are not loud or bold, we look for all qualities, not just the most obvious ones
