On a day-to-day basis, my job involves, at the moment, shadowing other engineers whilst also completing smaller tasks, such as replacing parts and fault finding, and completing preventative maintenance tasks.

Skills which I have learnt include welding, fault finding techniques, pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical.
