I cover 2 different customers, ensuring that their deliveries make it to their depots. My day involves customer emails and communicating with hauliers to ensure the best service for my 2 customers.
I have definitely increased my confidence, I am able to send customer communication emails so easily now whereas before, emails weren't prominent in my life. I'm also very assertive now as to what needs to be done whereas I wouldn't have been before this apprenticeship.
I love my program! I am learning so many different life skills all the time, gaining valuable insights into such an influential fast-moving consumer goods business who are providing me with on the job learning. My development since starting this course is amazing and I really enjoy what I do!!
Very organised. I have teaching blocks with my uni and follow up days to ensure that our assignments are going well and a space to ask any questions if necessary. I have 1 study day a week to focus on my assignments and ensure that my off the job hours are up to date.
I receive lots of support from my employer. I have a dedicated line manager who is always there for support whenever I need it. Whether it be work support, uni support or just general life help, she is always willing to be there for me. I feel lots of support around me as well in my team, very lucky to be in my position.
My training provider are very aware that we are apprentices and so ensure that they make the time for us when we ask for the support. Lecturers are always happy to have support sessions on Teams to ensure that we feel that we are doing the best assignment as we can.
I am able to put my learning from the university lectures into my work and in real life scenarios. Sometimes I will be doing a work task and thinking how perfect it aligns with the learning that I recently had at the university. Definitely contributes to my work doing better as I understand the theory behind the role that I am doing.
