Currently working within user engagement and business partnering. Supporting on IT related projects, varying depending on ongoing projects, as well as supporting users on any IT related topics and providing training on digital tools.
Have learnt to use tools such as Power Automate and Power BI to help improve processes and reporting. Also developed an understanding of IT services and management in a global organisation.
Well structured in the sense that the 2 rotations we will go through were clearly outlined, allowing us the chance to learn and develop in both areas. However, there is a lack of proper early careers program for the role, with us not having the chance to interact as much with other ECPs as much as other roles do and there is no clear learning program/development outside of the department such as project management courses or chances to broaden our scope outside of the department due to travel restrictions.
Yes
Overall, Siemens is great in their field and provide good learning and development opportunities.
Make sure you understand what the organisation does, and what the job role involves. If you do this, it shows through in your interview with any questions you ask and the conversations you have with your interviewers.
