I tend to support on several projects, with my daily tasks including: writing reports, coordination, sending emails, assisting project managers etc.
Yes, definitely. My confidence in the workplace has grown significantly since I started my apprenticeship. I have developed existing skills such as time management and organisation.
The level of work was very minimal to begin with, however now that I have taken on more responsibility and signed up for additional roles I feel more utilised and noticed in the office.
Despite my type of apprenticeship being fairly new, I think that the programme is well thought-out and structured sensibly. The learning provider still has things to learn however I feel as though this is improving over time.
I am very well supported at work, with enough time allocated for university work and off-the-job training hours. Additionally, I am included in all of the office socials and team days which makes me feel much more comfortable with my colleagues.
My training provider is somewhat helpful when I require support. At first, contacting my lecturers was quite difficult, however I have seen a significant improvements in this over the first year at the university.
My qualification links directly to my job role within the environment and sustainability sector.
I tend to get involved in as many extra-curricular activities as possible. We have monthly pay-day work events as well as many socials in between. I found that these were really useful for getting to know other people in my office.
Yes
I find that Mott MacDonald are an excellent employer to work for. I really enjoy my job and the workplace is so friendly and welcoming.
