  • I came in with zero coding knowledge and I am improving by the day so I have learnt numerous skills already and still earning.

  • Learning is fun for me so the programme is going on well

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The planning could have been better in some ways as we have to skip some days due to bank holiday, for example. That could have been put into consideration but it wasn't.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • A lot. I already have a buddy who is a colleague and an ex apprentice. I have my manager and my apprentice manager as well to help anytime I need any support.

  • They are always there when you need 1-1 or group chat

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Moving into a new role comes with a lot of responsibilities so paying a lot of attention and dedicating plenty of time to learning is essential.

  • Yes have groups and events

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Good work life balance and the leadership are very understanding and can help you when if personal issues are trying to impact your work in some ways. I am a testimony of this.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Barclays?
  • Don't be afraid to apply for lower positions if you have a higher position in mind. Work hard and grow into your desired role when the opportunity comes.
