  • Every day is different! Often I'll plan my weeks work the week before, it involves various analytical techniques in the Laboratory. After doing lab work I have to complete a write up on my experiment and it's findings.

  • I've become much more independent and organised. I'm able to plan my own packages of work so that everything is completed for it's deadline. I have developed very strong laboratory skills too.

  • I thoroughly enjoy the apprenticeship, it has been extremely interesting and I feel I've learnt so much since starting.

  • There are sometimes a few problems concerning the timings of university work as it can be difficult to balance it with project work at AZ.

  • It's been a really enjoyable experience. They always push you to be your very best, which whilst challenging at times is very rewarding.

  • Be yourself and show that you are passionate about the field of work you want to enter.
