As a first year apprentice I have been assigned with a mentor who assigns me jobs that I will complete with a supervisor for the week or day depending on the duration of the job. For instance I have recently completed an intervention were I was given a week of jobs to complete on that line.
I have improved significantly since the beginning and the time I spent in the college the company assigned me to.
I enjoy the jobs I have been given and progressively being trusted more to do jobs on my own.
I would like their to be more communication for key dates between the college and work.
Lots of support and always checking on me.
My manager provides courses to improve my engineering capability.
I have been involved with expeditions and voluntary work.
