Setting up surgery’s, working share side with clinicians, helping patients achieve their desired smile while maintaining a clear and clean environment.
Yes I have learnt lots of new skills including specialist treatment and I have worked on my communication skills which were quite hard to start with as I was very shy and I am now very confident with patients.
I really enjoyed working as a dental nurse as I have met so many amazing people I have also made relationships with some of our patients it’s such a rewarding job.
It’s very easy to have the work and know what you need to complete however sometimes getting the help you need is a little difficult as it’s online.
My first employer wasn’t very supportive however where I am working now I could not ask for any more help, everyone is super supportive and there’s always someone that can help and they don’t mind helping .
After quite a few ups and downs my assessor Laura is super helpful and always able to assist where possible.
It’s so nice when the things you learn I’m up in day-to-day working and then you have the knowledge to do this, without hesitation are able to help someone else with the knowledge that I’ve learnt is really rewarding.
