Working in this role has enabled me to develop my entire skillset, from general communication from working in a team and office environment, to leadership skills by being a mentor to new joiners
The programme is perfect for a school leaver or grad wanting to start their career in the accounting/tax industry. The opportunities for progression are very good.
The learning and development team can sometimes be difficult, but generally a very well structured route to being qualified.
Many aspects require independence, but there is good support should you need it.

Experience has been valuable, but in terms of taking my capabilities to the next level, the qualifications are essential.
Yes, plenty of external events to go to if you push for it. Extra curricular activities include football, drinks, socials etc. Paid volunteering days to get involved in too.

Good opportunities for progression if you can get through the exams. Perfect start for a career in tax or accounting that could take you anywhere.
Be aware of the current/future tax changes, may impress your interviewer if you show you have been keeping up to date.
