Legal research, preparing bundles, filing documents to the Court, calling the courts, drafting letters, emails and reports etc, sorting out files and preparing chronologies, attending meetings and preparing attendance notes, assisting supervisor with basic tasks.
I have developed legal writing skills e.g. drafting email to clients/experts etc.
I enjoy my programme as I am able to ask anyone for help and learn new things.
It is structured well and I know where I am at.
I will receive support if I ask for it and generally the employer is good at supporting.
I receive adequate support but sometimes they are hard to get in touch as they might not reply to emails and can sometimes feel unorganised.
My qualification is relevant to my role and helps me understand the topics better. Some of the work relate and its easier for me to relate and understand. However some things aren't covered in the qualification related to the day-to day tasks of a paralegal such as drafting legal documents and what they are and different type of notices etc.
We have social activities and sports rarely. We do have professional networking events once in a while but they are more open to lawyers than apprentices.
