I undertake heavy maintenance on British airways short haul fleet. I work alongside mechanics and gain experience through working alongside them
Ive develop working in team environment, hand skills and key communication along with health and safety in and around the work place
I enjoy the programme in terms of working on live aircraft but the apprenticeship could be worked a lot better
The apprenticeship program could be worked on. This would allow a better experience and better qualification's to allow us to further progress further in our career
The employer gives us a lot of support in terms of mental health or work support
Ive not had any support with our training provider since starting
The qualification i got through my apprenticeship only allows me to progress in my place of work and nowhere else in the company through engineering
We get to do some charity events through flying start so its a good to give back through work
