My role in selex is to observe and take part in the production of highly expensive and very interesting products such as lasers or radar. day to day selex is a pleasant work environment.
Since beginning the placement I have acquired many new and important skills and developed on the skills I already had massively, I feel that this is one of the most important things an apprenticeship can provide
My employment at selex has been amazing so far and I look forward to the future years with the company. I feel that this company really cares for its employees.
selex since the beginning has show a great fondness to the apprenticeship program and it is clearly very important to the business.
the program is very well structures and the organisation has shown very little fault throughout my time at selex. The organisation of the process can sometimes sway a bit but it is very quick to recover.
The training provider here at selex shows as much support as you need and will make sure that you stay on track and is always there to help if you struggle
My employer is incredibly helpful whenever I am in need of help whether it be with college or work I am never stuck for long with the help of my employer
For my current needs the money I earn is sufficient but if I were to try and live independently at the moment it would be a struggle. it is a good wage for a first job but it would be difficult to live off of.
There is lots of opportunity out there it is just a case of grabbing opportunity when its shows itself. if you really needed something to do there will always be an opportunity for something.
Yes
Selex is a good company that looks after their employees and even if you were to choose not to stay with the company it is a good and well known name which will help find future employment
if you want to join selex I would advise that you go for it and don't look back, jump straight for the opportunity and give it your best shot.
