  • My role as a Compliance Analyst is to support my colleagues within the team to deliver a world-class service to our clients and customers.

  • I have learnt a lot of skills around risk management and mitigation, governance and compliance. The are a lot of opportunities to learn new skills internally as well.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I have enjoyed the programme - it takes a lot of hard work and resilience to do well at it and constant perseverance is required to overcome challenges and hurdles that arise on the way. It's a great way to get your foot through the door of finance.

  • The programme is well structured - the execution and delivery of the programme could be better organised though to reduce the uncertainty provided during critical points of the programme.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • The support varies from team to team; some rotations are within very supportive teams with a strong people culture. Other rotations give you much less support - it really depends on the people you work with on a day-to-day basis because the overall programme support is limited.

  • The training providers are very hands on and supportive. Very understanding and easily adaptable to any pressing business needs that may result in deadline extensions to be able to meet timelines.

  • I think it has given me a broad general understanding of the industry I am working in, which is critical to perform my role with diligence.

  • Yes, we have a lot of other societies you can join to make your day at work varied. This groups are also really good to help you broaden your social network outside of your team, which is extremely helpful when you have just started your career.

  • Yes

  • It has a very strong brand reputation and is a credible place to work for, if that matters to you.

  • Be yourself, be ready to work hard and try to learn as much about the industry as you can before you get into it because sometimes, it's not what it seems.
