Business analyst involved in assessing business processes, controls and various risk related scenarios.
I have learnt a plethora of new skills and had the ability it shadow, interact and experience al corners of the business.
I enjoyed the content, I thought the way the provider carried out the programme was weak and did not benefit the learner
It has a semi organised structure to it, but much of the course can be left to much up to the apprentice, sometimes with a lack of guidance or reasoning behind tasks.
I received a solid amount of support from my employer, offering adequate time to learn and develop both in my role and in my studies
I had a helpful skills coach assigned to me, which offered a base level of support across the 18 months, however lacked any real support/communication besides that.
I feel as if enhanced a number of foundational skills in my role, and allowed me to build upon them and apply a base level of knowledge. Although, I do not feel that all of the content is realistic to a work scenario, and is rarely touched upon in this role.
Yes, there is a social club, with events happening once or twice a month funded by this committee, as well as various celebrations held throughout the year around cultures, events and people.
Yes
I believe that NAB is a fantastic environment to learn and develop due to its small size and close knit community. This family feel goes a long way in terms of motivation and general well-being. There is a feeling that every single employee has a purpose and is of equal value to the business.
Be your authentic self, and consistently be proactive when looking to learn and develop.
