Infection control of the surgery room and in the decontamination room. Chair side assistance to the dentist and the patient. Stocking up the surgery room. Helping out at the reception. Checking labwork.
Yes, from zero knowledge in dentistry to becoming a dental nurse.
I enjoyed the course. The weekly webinars were helpful. The resources were accessible.
We were given the timetable at the start of the apprenticeship and the timetable was followed. Tempdent tried to link the units together so that it could flow easily but it was hard to. Still, it was organised.
Unfortunately, we had (5) changes of PM, a temporary Lead Nurse, and no mentor so there was no support received from my employer at all.
Tempdent was far better than my dental practice (employer). There was communication! Academy support, Sima, Brooke, Jackie, and Teodora were all supportive.
Very well. Without the knowledge and skills from my training provider, I wouldn't be able to fulfil my role.
No. Nothing from my employer.
Yes
I would like to share my positive experience with others.
Advise them of the workload to prepare them.
