I am involved in assisting with legal work related to the practice that I am in. This changes every year/6 months which gives me a variety of work that I get involved in.
I have both learnt and developed my skills by a vast amount throughout the three years I have currently been in my role. The exposure that I receive and the knowledge that I gain will enable me to be miles ahead as an NQ.
I enjoy my programme for multiple different reasons. This includes the level of involvement I have as a junior in client projects, the people, the social aspects and the support.
As my programme is very new to KPMG, there are still some areas that are currently strengthening as the firm become more familiar with the programme that I am on. It is a learning curve, but has been continuously improving as time goes by.
There is always someone to reach out to and everyone is extremely happy to speak whenever it is needed.
There are many extra-curricular activities to be involved in at the firm which makes it a very social place to be.
Yes
It is amazing for juniors to learn and develop and provides a safe, kind and empowering environment for the future of my field. The support and learning is unmatched to what I have seen in other apprenticeships.
Be yourself and embody the values of the firm.
