My role includes being a consultant as part of a team in public sector risk and compliance where I work with clients such as the NHS. My day-to-day includes Data Testing, Report Writing and general admin tasks
I have developed on a range of soft skills in this role and have also learnt technical skills surrounding excel and powerpoint in particular
I really do enjoy the programme I am currently on due to the amount of apprentices I have in the same cohort as well as the support we are given from various groups in the community
Personally, I would say that the structure is not clearly defined on a week-to-week basis due to the nature of the industry and how each project you are involved in can be different. On a year-to-year scale though, there is a clear goal and aim for apprentices for each year they are in the firm
I recieve alot of support both externally and internally within the community
We do recieve monthly calls monthly from a coach who is associated with the training provider that we use. This is helpful when coming across assignments and work.
I believe the qualification will help me perform better with the soft skills required in my role
Yes, we have alot of access to internal/external networking events as well as societies within the community - this ranges from sports, arts as well as other hobbies too. As a community, I believe that KPMG is a great place to work.
Yes
KPMG has an amazing people culture in my opinion and also allows individuals within the business to grow and develop with the firm
Look and apply the job description and values on the KPMG website and the role you are applying for.
