Overhauling Jet engines per customer specifications. Strip, clean, inspect, repair, build & test. I am also a STEM ambassador and go out to the community to inspire the next generation.
I have learnt extensive technical and meta skills that are far superior from when I joined the business.
I thoroughly enjoy my programme as I have the opportunity to develop as an engineer and as a person. I have ample opportunities to get exposure to all aspects of the overhaul process to prepare me for full time employment
My programme is structured well to cover work based training, college and extra curricular activities.
I receive all the support I need, both for my training and general life issues i.e. bereavement
I meet with my VQ assessor every 13 weeks to review my evidence and guide me through achievable targets until my next review.
I know what I need to achieve which allows me to work with my manager to create and adapt a training plan that aligns with my qualification through a strategic and structured approach
