I file and submit VAT returns, confirmation statements, complete HMRC calls for clients, answer client phone calls, complete draft accounts and ensure clients bookkeeping is up to date.
I have developed plenty of new skills I didn’t know before such as VAT returns, confirmation statements and corporation tax. I have further developed skills in personal tax.
I enjoy my programme a lot as I enjoy learning new skills
My programme is structured well I know exactly when I will be on the job or in a learning environment, I am also told in good advance when my exams will be and my mocks. This also gives me good time to complete work.
I receive good support from my employer, I have regular 1 to 1s where I can voice my opinion which is always heard.
I receive a lot of support from my training provider, I get a weekly lesson, revision sessions, time to revise on my own and mocks to complete before the exam.
I have learned the theory behind what I am completing in work so I now can thoroughly understand the process of the work I am completing and why I am completing it.
We have had an annual event, regular meals out for lunch and team goals to complete each month (I.e. step count to be high in may)
Yes
At Caroola I can be myself, it’s a fun and professional work environment.
Everything is easier when you work as a team
