Every day I check my IRIS desktop to check what work I have been allocated. I then complete my priority work like VAT returns and CS01s. I also call HMRC regularly on behalf of clients. Additionally, I prepare annual accounts for clients, as well as submitting VATs to HMRC. Other admin tasks include professional clearance, address changes and inputting invoices, bank statements as CSVs into FreeAgent.
During my education with Paragon, I have passed both exams so far with a 94% average score. Paragon have helped me understand and gain new knowledge of bookkeeping controls and costing in order to progress me through my AAT L2 qualification and I am confident I will pass my next 2 exams to completed my qualification.
I thoroughly enjoy my course as I enjoy the challenge and like to learn new things, especially when it is more maths based. I have enjoyed learning all about bookkeeping and I am excited to further my knowledge in the coming modules.
My programme is well structured with a study timetable and revision sessions and mock exam sessions carved into it.
I receive a good amount of support from my employer with my studies and other knowledge which has helped me in my studies to give me a head start before starting my first lessons. I already had a good understanding of debits and credits and VAT due to Caroola.
I receive support from Paragon as they send extra learning resources after the lesson which gives me more questions to revise. Also, the lessons are recorded meaning I can watch over them for further help.
My qualification helps me with my job as it is important to my role that I know VAT percentages and sales ledgers and purchase ledgers.
Yes, we regularly have extra curricular activities such as a step challenge in May, annual events, team lunches and sports day.
