Day to day I work on data analysis for engagements in a range of ways; this includes through alteryx and SQL and also often writing up documentation. When there are no engagements, there is a bit of down time for me.
Learnt Alteryx and client communication, developed SQL and python
When I am productive and when the apprentices collaborate its good! When there's downtime and not much to do, I feel very underutilised and undervalued
The study element is well structured, my role at the company does not feel well structured.
To some extent, but not entirely or even mostly
Apprentices have organised a lot of these in recent years outside of work - was not aware of how to get involved at work extra-curricular or which was available/ no longer available. For example, was told of a book club which I couldn't find despite asking around.
Yes
The benefits and experience is good, and its definitely a launchpad for a career. I can't see myself staying post-apprenticeship however.
